I’m making this incredible master sword from #totk and I need some advice on how to finish it! My plan is:

1. sand
2. fill in any gaps btwn multipart pieces with wood filler
3. sand
4. spray with sandable primer
5. sand
6. paint… with spray paint?
7. …. Assemble? What about the parts that fit together with tight tolerances? Will the added paint make it impossible to assemble?
8. what coating do I finish with to make the hilt a comfortable texture to hold?
