Would I be correct in saying that ‘which software would get it’ wouldn’t matter so much if every software connected to the fediverse only used objects defined in AP? Or would all software then still need to support all AP objects (on the backend, I’m not talking about every app being able to correctly display every object)?
Then you could use whatever frontend you wanted that displayed objects how you desire, right?
