Sorry, it's not true. In spite of all the indoctrination we receive in schools — along with mountains of government propaganda — capitalism and democracy cannot co-exist.

If democracy is going to work, you first must have equality. But equality is not possible under capitalism because far too much power always flows to the money side of the equation.

So let’s accept that voting within the capitalist structure is simply a means of reinforcing that very structure. It’s about power and control, not about freedom and choice.

Without socialism and true equality, there is no democracy.
