People will say social media posting isn't actually Doing Something about the problems of the day but then neither is voting most of the time, as our governments and ruling class could care less what we think.

No one who bothers to do the math actually cares about my vote, which is around 0.002% of the total in a local election, let alone its value in a state or national election.
