@rbreich If he was qualified, he couldn't be a MAGAt Republican. People who legitimately care about and can help the USA don't work for the GOP.

crazyeddie ,
@crazyeddie@mastodon.social avatar

@rbreich Good on you for trying to convince the middle -- I'm beyond caring at this point. I don't know who this guy is and I don't want to. The people in the middle are lost to me. I started reading this and within the first paragraph was like, "Yep...I'm done. I don't care." They're scum. People in the middle may as well be considered the same. Sorry. I just can't anymore.

You mean he isn't a criminal @rbreich? Gasp! How could THAT be? It's a political job qualification in the united snakes.

@rbreich Think of him as a more eloquent, less pungent, more presentable, yet perfectly sycophantic and despicable Trump minion. It that sense, he's perfectly qualified to take on and destroy the American democratic system ... unfortunately, though.

@rbreich Sorry to say, but it's a good choice. It will appeal to the right-wing electorate. And well, he is a writer, it seems, he is supposed to have some culture.

@rbreich
JD Vance is owned by billionaire Peter Thiel; Eugenics freak and the angel fund investor who pumped millions and life into Trump's campaign early in 2016. He has also been best buddies with Megalomusk for decades. Neither is deeply rooted in America, invested yes. Our freedom is truly in high jeopardy

@rbreich the only one less qualified for national office than JD Vance is Donald Trump.

@rbreich "unqualified" , I don't even know what that means anymore in this country, we have no standards. people have accepted the worst

FeralRobots ,
@FeralRobots@mastodon.social avatar

@rbreich yeh but how often has that ever made a difference to a Republican candidate?
The lack of qualifaction bothers me a little less than the particularly dangerous combination of spinelessness, viciousness, & desperate need for approval.

I disagree, he is an extremist Magat, with limitless ambition, and a complete lack of principles. If he did not exist, they would have to make him up.
As an aside, what is wrong with Yale and Harvard law schools?

Oh, but such great optics!
And the bumper stickers?!
"Trump/Vance"

Maybe even save some money on ink, as the old template (Pence) has the same letters except the Va.

Horrific. Perfect for him though, Sir Perfect StableGenius of the

@rbreich Qualification has no part in what is going on in US politics for quite some time now.

@rbreich Trump is unqualified as a convicted felon and anyone he picks as his running mate is also unqualified by sheer moral incompetence.
