A Greek Glass Amphora (2nd Century BC) from Olbia (now in Ukraine), a Greek city at northern Black Sea shores founded in 7th Century BC, by Miletus (now in Turkey).

Moulded in a translucent yellow-green glass and embellished with decoration of gilt copper spouts in the form of Satyrs. Crafted in two parts, with the join being masked by a band of gilded copper around the body of the vessel.
