Exclusive: In blow to #Biden, #Teamsters consider no endorsement in 2024 race

The 1.3M member Teamsters #union are considering backing no candidate at all.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters decision has not been finalized & is expected to be made in the coming weeks.

Not backing Biden, who the union endorsed in 2020, would compound political damage to the Democratic president's reelection bid.

The article states “no decision has been finalized” and then goes on to fantasize how this is bad for Democrats and Biden.

@Nonilex If U.S. politics were an orchestra, conservatives would be the artistic director kowtowing to big donors' demand for a full season of John Philip Souza marches, minstrel tunes, and pop orchestrations of Ted Nugent, and liberals would be the actual musicians, who'd love to play truly good music but instead are busy shanking each other over whether to tune to A440 or A444.

Whats their reasoning?
Trump despises unions or employee rights.
Biden has supported them.even through their strikes at the best selling truck model's plants.

That may be a wise move.
incites violence. An endorsement could make union members a soft target.

I like to think the days of union bosses leveraging members to vote for their guy are over.
