You know what I find hysterical? The people who try to cleverly correct Americans that America is actually the entire continent from Canada to Peru, and not the United States, and that we should refer to it as such. This is a fucking joke.
If you ask anyone in the world about America, they aren’t going to be confused and think maybe you mean Brazil, Mexico, or Uruguay.
It’s the same reason why no one confuses New England with the big Island off the coast of France.
Yeah, I’m just blocking everyone who wants to jump in to tell me I’m wrong. If you’re going to get tagged with the Ugly American label, you might as well embrace it.
I’m not talking about a technicality, you fucking dweebs. We all know what the continents are called. It just happens to be how the world refers to the country in between Canada and Mexico.
