There is a great temptation among many commenters to dither on the flaws in the superficial reasoning provided in cases like these in the hopes that the legal system can provide remedies. And of course those remedies should be pursued. And perhaps someday with political change, the foundations of reasoning and argument they develop will form the basis for the rule of law again.
