Since Cannon directly contradicted her superiors when they told her to not take this case, I believe Cannon will pay the ultimate price commonly known as #ETTD.
Sorry, I am pessimistic on this one. Thomas clearly wants this one to land in the lap of SCOTUS so they can declare not only this special counsel but any SC they don't like as unconstitutional.
Not sure an appeal is going to work out well at this time.
@Strandjunker I like the idea of refiling, at least the obstruction charges, in the DC circuit, giving the case to the DC general. This is where the grand jury was held, and Eileen Cannan would be out. Period 🍸😺.
@Strandjunker Expelled-no. she has a lifetime appointment that is only negated by retirement, resignation or impeachment. He will appeal. Let's see what happens next. I think she's out of the picture for the moment, but the case is NOT over.
