I predict that there are sufficient numbers of people who work better either in an office, or remotely, that companies that embrace one or the other will both thrive. This is a good thing! It's such a massive difference to people on either side of the divide, being able to choose is a big improvement for office worker types.

Right now in-office has way more opportunities, but a lot of that is inertia. As new remote-first companies mature, it’ll even out.

@uncanny_kate The company I work for allows in office, hybrid, and fully remote. It's great and everyone holds meetings via TEAMS anyways.
