A ridiculous, but fair, pet peeve of mine is less than 10% follow ratios.

That is, 10x more people following you than you following others.

That usually means you're talking at people instead of to people and not adding value to the platform in almost any way.

I don't typically interact with accounts like that.

@BeAware And that's the reason I got pushed off of twitter. I always try to follow a lot of people so I can see what people have to say. It's apparently against Twitters TOS. They consider it platform manipulation. I'm just tired of the nannyism personally. Freedom of Speech? We don't even have the freedom to use most of these platforms the way we'd like to or freedom not to be monitored and have our data sold. Speech is the least of my concerns in the present day.

@owner Wow. That's wild. Follow a lot and follow often. There's no harm in it in my opinion. The issue is not following enough. Got 10,000 followers but only following 100 or so? Probably haven't interacted with them...

@BeAware they just want to be cool and say I have all these followers. Like the MySpace days 🤣

@Tengohipo @BeAware nervous lol I follow the both of you at least, I could be better at following the people who I interact with though, but I just find myself following hashtags for the things I like, and it keeps my home timeline pretty active. Totally fair pet peeve though, please accept my sincerest apologies :pedro:

@pixelworld_ai @Tengohipo 🤷‍♂️. As long as you're interacting with others. Most that have those kinda numbers totally don't...😬
