Your criticisms of Trump are valid, but I distinctly remember your press mocking Trump - and more importantly - mocking his supporters. I think that made his supporters conflate criticisms of Trump with criticisms of them. I think that early coverage was a massive strategic mistake. [edited to remove typos]
