After journalist Anna Wolfe won a Pulitzer Prize for exposing a welfare fraud scandal in Mississippi, the former governor has sued her and her editor, Adam Ganucheau, for defamation. They are both resisting a court order requiring them to turn over files and reveal their sources, saying the request is an attack on journalism. “If one of us goes to jail, we will be the first person to go to jail in the Mississippi welfare scandal,” Wolfe says.
