Have to go back to the hospital to wait for the doctor and then they have to send him to a different hospital that can take care of it better. Don't know the extent or if he needs surgery yet.
I'm on the way there now. I don't do well in stressful situations so if I go silent for an abnormal amount of time, it's just because I'm dealing with a lot of shit rn.😩
It sucks. The last six months my Maternal Aunts have both had Afib diagnosis as well as treatment. The doctors have even advised for a surgery for both of them.
So far Mom is okay, because our concerns now are hereditary as they are in Nashville and we are near Ft. Worth.
He won't need surgery or anything probably, but he has a high white blood cell count so he needs antibiotics on top of the heart medicine. He just got into an ambulance to go to the other hospital 50 miles away. I'm on my way home so I can chill. Nothing else I can do for him tonight anyway. Gonna go visit tomorrow afternoon.
I'm a bit less stressed than earlier. Metaphorically the water is only up to my waist. Earlier it felt like I'd be completely under. Not out of the high water yet though. The other hospital can still find something else wrong that might need surgery, but let's not think about that right now.
I just left the hospital so I can get food and maybe a nap. His vitals are all over the place so they're gonna give him a drug cocktail and there's not much else I can do now.
Just gotta wait and hope for everything to get under control ASAP.😬😔
@BeAware Our bestie has afib, popped up while he was with his family on vacation in Vegas. Took them a while to get it figured out. Hope they figure it fast. Get some rest if you can.
