WaPo, Economist, NYT, all the publishers going after Biden are losing readers who won't forget that they went all in for a candidate who calls them the Enemy of the People.

Who, months before the election, do they think is going to subscribe now? The insurrectionists who want them out of business?

Nope. The New York Times readership is the moneyed. And the wealthy are anti-democracy.

The moneyed oppose democracy because they oppose anything that fosters limits on their wealth.

The SEC, IRS, EPA, etc. Taxation, any taxation. Minimum wage increases. Banking regulations. Corporate bailouts. Government subsidies to the rich. Student loan forgiveness.

The moneyed don't want to live under fascist rule, they just don't want democracy to get uppity ideas.

@falcennial @tob @nutmeg @kbeninato

The moneyed want a 3rd option; a backsliding democracy.

Hobbled & ineffective, but still a democracy, on paper only.

Too dysfunctional to act on climate change, pandemics, financial crashes, wars, or other crises

The idea was to incite each side & get another stalemated Congress. Gridlock in a democracy fosters fascist movements & erosion of trust

Tim Mellon funds RFK. People assumed he was buying a stalemate.

He's not.
He's buying a dictatorship

All this and more! I'm not going to worry about President Biden's memory until he forgets: that unions made America's middle class strong, that Russia is our enemy, that the New York Times doesn't deserve an interview, and that our Veterans deserve our respect and admiration, and that America is Great (not perfect, but great). These are all things his KKK scion opponent has forgotten, or is too sick to be able to appreciate. That's your story - media jerks.
