If you READ the actual transcript of the debate, you see Trump spewed his usual lies and unhinged nonsense. Biden was perfectly coherent, aware, rational, and on point.
If you WATCHED the debate, what you saw was what you wanted to see.
But no one reads anymore, which is what CNN was counting on -- and what they've been schilling for the last week. These greedy assholes will install the very fascism that will be their own undoing, but goddamn, they're going to make a lot of money first.
