After SCOTUS overruled Chevron gaslighters said “don’t be melodramatic, agencies still exist.” It reminds me of those downplaying Heller pre-Bruen. While radical, this Court realizes everything is done in steps. But make no mistake they have a clear vision of all the steps
That would be consistent with their dismantling of the federal regulatory apparatus.
Which, I suppose, makes some amount of sense. The Constitution is pretty restrictive about what the federal government is allowed to do. It's pretty big on “federal government does this; states do everything else.”
Or, rather, it would be consistent, if not for the part where they gave Trump, and Trump alone, unlimited immunity, in clear violation of the Constitution's provisions and intent. 🤦♂️
