Perched atop a rock pinnacle at Yemen's famous Wadi Dhahr Valley is Dar al-Hajar, better known as the Imam's Rock Palace.
Built in 1930s, by Imam Yahya as his summer retreat, it stands alone in a green oasis, seemingly growing out of the rocks.
One of Yemen's main tourist attractions, the former palace is now a museum, located some 15 km away from the capital of Sanaa, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world.
