Since lockdown I've been doing most of my grocery ordering online, which occasionally leads to some interesting substitutions. Today's was a winner: ordered a bunch of beets, got a bunch of radishes. Maybe someone thought they were tiny, spicy beets?
@restlesshead I've experienced similarly baffling substitutions and it makes me wonder at the variety of human perspective. 😮
Plus, it makes me put in a request for a refund, every single time, since my orders specify "no substitutions; if they don't have it, buy nothing" and this gets so VERY ignored. 😵
