When all viable means of democratic adjustment have been exhausted and the justice system can no longer be counted on to be just, then recourse to political violence, in the face of existential threats and gross injustice, becomes legitimate.
I don't know if we are there yet, but are definitely fast approaching that point. I say it's better to go down fighting than to meekly succumb to this fascist cancer
@DemocracyMattersALot
We need to make sure that doesn't happen so everyone needs to go out of their way and demand that he steps down.

Oh yes !!
We do not need a convicted felon being in a position that our children and grandchildren are supposed to admire.
And since the SCOTUS decided that he is not immune from the foreign emoluments clause...
He needs to be charged for this immediately.
We need to see something "outrageous" from POTUS. NOW. Something like emergency executive order expanding SCOTUS. But it's got to be a decisive action that reinforces to America that their vote won't be wasted. And my strategy has always been - the best defense is a better offense ☺️
@DemocracyMattersALot Demand the removal of corrupt Thomas and the addition of 4 justices. Prosecution of Trump. Removal of insurrectionists from Congress. Fix the Electoral College. But why stop there really? Ask for more, you get some. Those who don’t demand anything at all, however, are guaranteed nothing.
@DemocracyMattersALot Oh we’re only going to make reasonable demands then, because of rules that they ALWAYS follow. Well I’m so sure they’ll only reply with due civility and decorum then.
Who cares the logistics??? Haul his ass before every fn committee in both houses all session long until he drops and if he ignores subpoenas throw him in a jail and let him rule from his cell. Are we really gonna bring knives to this gun fight??? Theres a Republic at stake!!!
@DemocracyMattersALot@opethminded Yes, but we can neutralize them. Take away all but their original jurisdiction via legislation. Expand the Court. Enforce ethics rules with teeth.
