The right is clearly communicating that they have no qualms about crossing all of those lines, but we're too busy clutching our pearls to get our hands dirty. I don't know the answer either, but I'm not so naive to think we're getting out of this mess easily. Handmaids' Tale is an increasingly likely scenario.
