The number one predictor of who participated in Jan 6 was whether they lived in an area where the white population was in decline as a percentage of the whole. A whopping 92% of people charged in connection with Jan 6 were white. He was implicitly declaring his support for race-based classism, a play to his base, and one that I think occurs very naturally for him.
