My site has been down for some time. Apparently Error 509
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later."
Can't even access my CPanel.
I'll just wait for the bandwidth counter to reset for July then see what's the problem. The webhost can't tell what the cause is, but they did send me this screenshot.
@hishgraphics Years ago I had something like this happen because some idiot used a graphic of mine in his SIG on forums ... and just had the sig point directly at my site, so the forums were downloading it thousands of times an hour in some cases.
I replaced the graphic with an identically-named file 3000 pixels square. Either he or the forum mods fixed it fast.
@SJohnRoss@hishgraphics Had that happen to me as well years back. I replaced the picture something extremely graphic and it soon stopped. Now I've also had somebody in the UK downloading two pdfs I had up over and over constantly 24/7 and it sucked my bandwidth down really quick. Changed out the file names and it was fixed but never figured out why they were doing it.
