Pippa, our 17 yr old female is currently in the doghouse for pushing a half litre of juice off the coffee table... it's hard to be really angry, because if the Earth was flat, cats would've pushed everything off it by now. But as I was mopping up the spill, and picking up the luckily intact glass, I remembered the following cartoon.

Four panel cartoon Top left is a cat on a dresser sitting next to a wine glass, it say's to itself "I wonder if this will bounce?" Top right is the cat sitting on the dresser, with its right paw on the wine glass. Bottom left is the cat sitting on the dresser looking down. Bottom right is the cat sitting on the dresser looking to its left, at another wine glass, and it say's to itself "maybe this one will!"
