It’s less about what Twitter was doing and more about the tone and delivery of the “serious academic” CEO who promoted a “citation-first” design principle and is casually describing what happened.

Believe people when they tell you their character.

@paninid I can only go so long without a usable search engine unfortunately. It's currently one of the best, even beating out google which has done WAY worse over the years.

I'll take the enemy that admits their wrongdoings openly vs the one that hides them and continues to commit wrongdoings over the span of 3 decades.🤷‍♂️
