@kevin@colinaut Well, a lot of my most lefty friends had very righty parents, too. So did I. Honestly I feel like that (and the nuclear threat we associated with Reagan, etc) were part of why we veered left. That, and we were all voracious readers, and a lot of our favorite writers were very interested in showing us a more leftist perspective.
