@flexghost Isn't it time we started to take power away from these entitled corrupt members of SCOTUS? it's like leaving the dog in charge of the butcher shop, they take bribes with one hand and legalize graft with the other, sweet deal SCOTUS. What's next, legalize slavery again?
@flexghost As long as you don't pay them until after the work is done, you're fine.
It's not like the people issuing bribes are constantly hollering about what they want in every possible conflict or situation such that the people wanting bribes are always made aware of which action would bring them rewards, right?
If they didn't directly correspond ahead of time, how would Thomas know that Trump and his backers want the immunity case decided in his favor?
@flexghost Flexghost: This is sht straight out of a Twilight Zone episode… And in regards to the person who didn’t think the Supremacy Court was corrupt: This should change your mind… Sht, if it doesn’t, I have the purest tap water to sell you. And I’ll also include a timeshare on Mars…
It is purely logical and would help loosen the Courts schedule so they could run more smoothly.
The real problem now is they know we want this logical thing to happen. Because of this, the next GOP POTUS WILL without a doubt, increase SCOTUS.
If we cannot accomplish this in the very near future, THEY WILL.
My most terrible fear is the 2028 election. Barring the GOP actually self imploding after they lose in November, historically it is so so rare for one party to hold the presidency for over two terms. We really need to make sure we change things hard core this time and not the namby pamby "democrats" way. But the hard core, we better be electing Dark Brandon, kind of way.
They are going to be pissed if they are ever allowed power again.
Isn't it more about the term limit than the party? e.g. if you could have 3 terms then it would (mostly) happen. I haven't analysed the data just making assumptions based on my sketchy knowledge of US history.
