It almost makes you wonder if she's following the talk about her on social media and in the press and getting some kind of perverse pleasure from how central a character she's become.
She's doing everything she dares to help him. If she's not helping him, it's just because she's afraid it'll blow up in her face — not because she gives a damn about justice or the rule of law.
