@GottaLaff The Vega was an ideal car for a MidWest winter, and rust in every panel made sure you’d never suffocate inside it. Mechanically reliable, it just SAT on the road like a rock, and with the right tires, rarely got me into anything it couldn’t get me out of.
In parallel with that, I also had a Mach 1 Mustang, and like the real thoroughbred it was, even after “winterizing”, it would just run off to its room and lock the door at the first hint of a snowflake in the air …
