I appear to have the stereotypical “Delhi belly” 😑 I have stabbing pains in my stomach which appear reluctant to move either up or down but I think we gotta flush this out somehow, so I’m pro getting a move on!

As I battle across Tokyo to home with the lingering effects of food poisoning, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude for the bathrooms at all Japan stations.
… and slightly less gratitude for the habit of running an escalator only half-way up to a floor.

I went through the same driving home to East Anglia from the beautiful Western Isles of Scotland once. It was the longest journey, ever! Not an experience I want to repeat.

@elizabethtasker : i once accidentally roofied myself (combining cold meds with others that i didn't know shouldn't be mixed—i'll refrain from divulging the recipe—then going out to san-chōme w/ friends) and as i heaved ho the whole way home from having only two drinks w/ friends, i was horribly embarrassed but desperately thankful for (mostly) clean bathrooms in tokyo stations 😢
