And many sentences for a certain set of laws include ridiculous fines that basically say Rich people can just pay a fee to commit certain crimes.

It's an Aristocracy protected by 'Knights'.

It never made sense. The founders didn’t want a king, they just extricated themselves from one. I think Trump is having a hard time selling this idea, even to MAGA.

@rbreich IMHO, Im shocked this was even up for debate. Obviously, absolute immunity leads directly to tyranny. Without the balance of interests between the three branches of government, our democracy is useless — and we’re screwed.

@rbreich Trump has lost yet again, surprised? Perhaps someone will suggest tilting at windmills in a lightning storm would help him lessen his future losses. Future loss is Trump’s god given talent and my favorite entertainment.
