I'm officially worried that Rahimi is taking so long. I feel like if we were gonna win that one, and keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers, it would have been ready already.
Chevron is taking a long time because we're definitely losing that one and, I imagine, Roberts is writing that while Neil shouts "MORE, MORE" like Kylo Ren in Last Jedi.
And, obviously, immunity is delayed because delaying it helps Trump.
Though, my solitary ray of hope is that since REMAND already blows the timeline back past the election, Alito lost the "full immunity" argument and is writing some kind of epic, time wasting dissent.
@GottaLaff just listening to Pod Save America. Jon Favreau “I interviewed Liz Cheney on the Pod and she was like, ‘I'm not worried about a right-wing Supreme Court majority, I'm worried that Donald Trump will say, why would I listen to the court? Why would I listen to any of the courts? Who's gonna make? With whose army” - does SCOTUS not realise this is a very real possibility??
@GottaLaff imagine the irony of them ‘helping’ install him back into the White House, then he turns around and makes their positions effectively worthless by riding roughshod over their rulings. It’s like signing their own death warrant.
Edit: phone hadn't loaded the next post lol so glad I'm in agreement either Elie
In tea leaf reading category, I wonder how likely it is that the long cases are being held b/c Alito and Thomas are dissenting and just delaying b/c they can
