@eb Yeah, the news coverage got it somewhat wrong. However, I also think the protesters need to do a serious strategy re-think. Defacing cultural artifacts is not changing anyone's mind about climate change. Like, maybe go after oil companies instead of heritage sites? That would be harder though, and more dangerous. I'm pretty sure the oil companies LOVE these people. Nothing like having your opposition willingly shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly. 🤦♂️
