@tayledras @DemocracyMattersALot Interesting note: Thomas Jefferson also published the Jefferson Bible, where he used a razor to cut and arrange verses from the Gospels into a single chronological narrative. He excluded all miracles and references to the divinity of Jesus, focusing on his moral and ethical instructions.

Safe to say the exclusion of religion in the Constitution was very much intentional. You have to be a Thomas-level moron to argue otherwise
