June 16, 2017 – In another rollback of a signature policy from the Obama administration, Trump partially reversed Barack Obama’s effort to open diplomatic ties with the Cuba. Trump’s changes would “enforce the ban on tourism, enforce the embargo,” in response to what he called “the last administration’s completely one-sided deal with Cuba.”
