The heatwave has arrived here, too. Here, in Amman, it is bearable - 40°C with low humidity and often some air is manageable, in the Jordan Valley it is much worse (dead sea!) and I think of the people in #Gaza who have hardly a roof over the head, the tents heating up and no electricity for fans or AC - and not enough clean water to drink or shower. It is brutal.
