…Donald Trump is the sole owner of the 3 clubs in NJ that are under review. The names of businesses listed on the liquor licenses are all owned by a revocable trust of which Trump is the sole beneficiary.
@Nonilex I wonder if the NJ law is flexible enough to deal with someone as crooked as Trump who talks about "my clubs" but hides them behind multiple layers of ownership?
If owned by a trust, does the law apply to the settlor, trustee, a person with a beneficial interest, or someone else?
And each layer of ownership behind a shell company attenuates the connection between Trump and these clubs.
