I have this weird idea. If you get caught bribing a politician, you’re on the hook to bribe each constituent with the same value. That man owes a lot of people a bunch of money.

Time for Menendez to resign so that whoever the Democratic candidate is won't have people voting for Menendez and letting the Republican win another seat in the Senate. Basically, if Menendez doesn't resign he's an enemy of the United States, an enemy of women, an enemy of the sick, the elderly and children, and an enemy of democracy itself. Putting a seat in the Senate in jeopardy for selfish reasons is virtually treason at this stage of the game.
Can we please wrap this trial up and put Menendez in jail before November so he doesn't screw the NJ Senate Race as an independent? He'll run as an independent just as an FU to the national Dems for not protecting him, pull just enough votes to sink Andy Kim, and we'll be stuck with some MAGA asshat as a NJ Senator for 6 years. Even if we don't get it passed, we put republicans in the indefensible position of defending bribes for our nation's highest court. Let them defend that.
