His 1994 crime bill, that SPECIFICALLY TARGETED THE BLACK COMMUNITY, wound up meeting all five conditions for the definition of genocide outlined by the Geneva Convention:

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

  1. Killing members of the group;

The 1994 crime bill included stop-and-frisk and other things that gave the already murderous police state carte blanche to murder black folks with impunity. It began the militarization of the police with weapons of war.

  1. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

It included the 3-strikes you're out clause that gave life sentences to black folks for non-violent crimes. It also included vast disparities in sentencing for those caught with powdered cocaine as opposed to crack cocaine, even though they're the exact same drug.

  1. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

All the above does this, as does the hardships faced by ex-cons trying to re-enter society.

  1. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;

Pretty sure this is one of the motivations behind locking up (or murdering) as many black people as possible. It's straight-up eugenics.

  1. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

I'm sure that the "other group" being family members who aren't in prison or are still alive - or the foster care system - isn't what the Geneva Convention meant, but I doubt the families of those black kids would see much difference.

This one thing alone is more horrifying than anything Trump ever did, especially since most of that bill is sitll being followed
