A few years ago, when I was staying with my dad in the UK through some of the darkest depths of the pandemic - looking out a window, I saw a blackbird scamper past in the garden.
Looked furtive as heck. Clearly up to no good - if you imagine 'guilty blackbird indulging in shenanigans', this was precisely that.
(The fact that I remember this several years later might indicate something relevant...)
