The bummer for many is that the smaller cell companies utilize the AT&T lines; when the interruptions occur, it impacts many more users than just AT&T. I have found T-Mobile to be the most reliable of late. JMHO for what it's worth.
@GottaLaff@Jgmeadows Canada has a notoriously bad telco situation, with few options that are all corporate behemoths with expensive indifferent service. (In-home internet tends to have more independent options.)
@GottaLaff@Jgmeadows For cell service? Honestly Rogers and Bell are extremely similar in terms of cost (high) and service (not great). Note that they have several sub-brands that provide cheaper offerings, and may appear to be independent, but they’re not.
For home internet, most of the truly independent companies are quite local, so I don’t know what the options might be where you are.
