Trump has threatened a 10% tariff on all imports.

Tariffs can be used strategically, but a blanket tariff is effectively just a sales tax on American consumers.

Trump's tariff tax would cost the average family an extra $1,500 year.

@rbreich He's also threatening mass deportation of all undocumented residents, which would wreck construction, maintenance, agriculture, food processing, restaurants, and hospitality services. Not to mention Social Security & Medicare. He's determined one way or the other to collapse the economy.

Trump is used to loss-lead a bunch of ideas in a new form of capture-and-kill of ideas he'll never enact and that the rich don't like. 10% is too much. 5% is better. 0% is worst of all.
