MTM cast was so briliant. I mean, they win all time best on the strength of Betty White, Ed Asner, and Ted Knight alone, not to mention Mary.

@GottaLaff@rgulick Dick Van Dyke? Gets my all time greatest vote just for the scene where MTM slides out of a closet on a pile of walnuts. Still my favorite scene in TV history. I'm sitting here giggling like an idiot just thinking of it.
@OldAndCranky I took a class from Jerry Paris and he had various casts of shows as guests. Amazing seminars. One show he focused on was that very episode. It was a gamble for him as I believe it was his first director assignment. @rgulick
