That's a very good question. And he hasn't even started his second term...where he'll be older and possibly less caring about his public remarks.

I wonder if his State Department has considered what kind of headache that could bring for them?

It's a gaffe alright, but was it by mistake, or does he simply not care due to his age?

He said last year, and it was recorded, that he was more geopolitically aware than Kissinger ever was, due to his 'considerable' experience.

I found this out only recently. I was deeply alarmed. I now realise that Jake Sullivan will readily symp. to this with disastrous consequences.

I suspect he's self-perception M I G H T have something to do with the current global mess Earth's in....
