I was dismayed to see "common" in the name of this plant when I looked it up. Common borage is uncommonly beautiful.

Common borage flowers backlit by the sun. Two flowers are open, a blue and a purple, and several more buds will open soon. They are each covered in white fuzz that catches the sun. The blue and purple petals are slightly iridescent and almost effervescent. In the background are more flowers and clear blue sky.
