Why do all these solemn newsmen keep insisting that Trump said it’s fine for states to monitor all pregnant people because he “doesn’t think much about the issue” like —they see what a fantastically bad take it is and make excuses for him! Why? “he’s not really that authoritarian- he just hasn’t thought it through” Who cares?
