@pvonhellermannn The tone of this article makes me think that many non-USA writers don't totally get the USA does not have a national police force or even a central controlling authority over the 12000 separate police organizations in the country. Which makes each individual over bearing responses by each local police force worse, since the there is no central authority to stop them, other than the courts.
