Do people still not have these kind of alarm clocks? I still use one very similiar to this.

OhmsLawn ,

I think most people just use their phones. I can't say that I've even seen a dedicated alarm clock in half a decade, at least.

Lost_My_Mind ,

Oh, I don't use my phone. If something happens where it's not charging (for whatever reason) then I'm not late for work.

Psythik ,

That's why I set an alarm on both my phone and my smartwatch.

refalo ,

I don't trust phones because I've had several that simply failed to activate the alarm and missed something important.

MossyFeathers ,

When I was very young I had a similar clock but instead of digital with a screen, it had those flipping number boards. It was really cool and was the coolest thing I owned until something caused the clock to start smelling smoky whenever it was plugged in.

OhmsLawn ,

My brother had the flippy one. The noise was a little much for me.

Those things were more digital than digital, but would still get beat by nixie tubes.

Pretty sure I've owned that thing

Dude! I had this exact alarm clock when I was a kid!

I'm 40 now and use my phone as an alarm clock. I haven't had a dedicated alarm clock in like 15 years now.

IDew ,

As much as I hate radio alarm clocks, this still looks sick

The faux wood-grain— delicious

fuzz00713 ,

The same alarm clock I have used since 1985. Still works like new.

YurkshireLad ,

I still use an old Sony cube alarm clock. I think it's probably at least 25 years old.

50MYT ,

Yeah I have a Sony dream or something. It's 30 years old and still going strong.

Oooh yeah. I had a similar one and used the radio for the alarm because I would sleep through the buzzers but not music.

BoxOfFeet ,

Oh, wow. A classic. Pretty sure that's the one my parents still use.

That was my (hand-me-down) alarm clock in high school in the mid-90s.

nathan ,

I stared at this trying to figure out what was wrong with that normal alarm clock.... Then I remembered it's not 1998 anymore. Fuck hahahahha

God .... I can hear this comment and that stupid alarm clock

July 4, 2024. The first time in my life I have mentioned simulated wood grain twice in one day.
