I buy Lego pieces from Bricklink probably at least once every few months and have been doing so for several years, so I have collected a massive freezer bag full of the little bags, and I don't really do anything with them. Does anyone else have this problem, and do you use them for anything?

I may be asking for a unicorn here but I've recently discovered that Lego does Christmas Village sets. I'm trying to get a few to do with my family and some of the ones I want are retired. People on Kijiji want $100 over the original price and I'm wondering if there is a better avenue to find these that doesn't support this...
With Lego seemingly pumping out more sets than ever — what happens to the sets that don’t sell through? Is that left to the retailer to deal with? Or can they send unsold inventory back to Lego? Does it all just end up at discount stores, or does Lego reuse parts from unsold sets to repackage in newer sets?
